Hello and thank you for the visit!

On here I’m trying to put together a photo album for plants that I find and photograph in my trips, but also (in time, some day) some information about species. Here you will find all plants with the exceptions of orchids, these have a different page HERE.

UPDATE: 27.02.2010 – 107 species in more than 450 photos (+ some not identified to species level, see here)

For now here are plants/photos done in Romania, Greece, Italy (if you are only interested in plant I have photographed in a certain country just click on that). You can browse for species on family (I have used the old larger sense for some family like Liliaceae) or you can see all species in one page (hope that soon will be a very long list…) or if you know what youneed use the search form. Also a page with undetermined plants is created (some will be completely out of my knowledge but for some probably I will know the genera, section for each family and a page dedicated to this)…. please help on this.

I’m a biologist (more an entomologist), not a botanist so is likely that you will find wrong identifications. If it happens to see the mistakes, please let me know so I correct them (more about me here).
